zetec and cvh sump!!!
does anyone know if CVH 1800 sump will fit a zetec engine ?

It'll kind of fit. The Sierra 1800 CVH bolt pattern is the same but there are 4 extra bolts in the Sierra so you'll have to drill and tap
the aluminium housings of the Zetec at each end. It's not a perfect fit but if you can't get the aluminium Zetec sump welded you'll
make it fit.

I heard this on another forum and thought if it could be done someone here would know for sure,the only reason i ask is that it may be a lot easier to
chop a cvh sump.
also i am not really interested in paying dunnels best part of £250 for a chopped sump since i want to do the zetec instal for that and a bit more

You *may* have issues with the shape of the curved sections at the front/rear of the sump - a grinder should help reshape it nicely
PS I think Trust Electrical do a cheaper sump

Half the price of dunnels for the sump chop,so worthkeeping in mind.
