BMW E36 diff mounts - solid or not???
As per title, pros an cons of solid mounts to chassis against polybushes?
Both no problem for me, but still wonder
Using Saab B234 2.3 turbo engine if that matters.
Thanks

PU Bushings:
Pros
- Less Vibration/Noise transmitted to Chassis/Bodywork/Body(Your Body)
- Some leeway, that is: Tolerances...
Con´s:
- fabrication complexity.
- Cost
Solid Mount:
Pro´s
_ Cheap.
- Easy (or at least easier than Bushings.
Cons.
- They´ll vibrate your teeth fillings loose... (No actual experience; I´m going for solid mounted engine and Transmission)
- Little or "no Give" so something may break.
Points to consider:
Depending on what you read, some argue that you can´t mix solid and bushings...
Hope this helps.

Still considering both options.
PU is not a problem for me, we make PU bushes......but vib's making something to break is kind of worry for me.

I think torque would be the killer...
Although vibrations will kill aluminum parts due to work hardening.
I am going solid mounted, but I have a V8 engine which has less vibration levels than 4 pots so not overly worried.
At least in my "Mundo de Caramelo" (means utopy or something like that)
