metric measurements

Im having my cylinder head planed can someone just confirm that 1.5mm is the equivalent to 0.060in thous. I have conflicting information in the ford sohc pinto book as they also say 2.0mm is 0.060in should this be 0.080in [thous]
I dont want to ruin my cylinder head by over planing it. Thanks Graham [Jacko]

1.5mm is exactly 0.0590551181102362204" or 0.059 or 59 thou. not 60 thou but if a thou is either here nor there than I would go for it.

60 thou (0.060" is exactly 1.524mm
