Westfield gear extension - quality sucks

I've just received a gearbox extension plate from westfield - to adapt a type 9. The quality of the thing sucks. The threaded holes to hold the gearlever plate on are at 15deg from vertical and the plate holding the selector rod is off-vertical as well so the whole mechanism dosn't even work anyhow.

Send it back and complain, I bet it wasn't cheap so it should be good quality.
