Fuel Tank
Hi
All
The Mini tank on my striker has started leaking fuel.
This is the second tank as the first owner/builder,
Had not long fitted a new mini tank before he sold it.
I have looked around for a aluminum/Steel tank that is baffled as well so is better to track days
Any body have a links to fuel tank builders
Thanks in advance

I’ve got a 30 litre aluminium fuel tank for sale, I’ve removed it from my Mk, to fit a smaller tank for sprinting, it’s got a aluminium filler neck
with link hose and cap , 8mm fuel pick up and 6 mm breather pipe, I can send you pictures if you are interested, like new condition it’s been in my
car for 800 miles, made by Martin Keenan of Mk engineering so is top quality, tig welded, with brackets to adapt to most applications £50 + £10

I bought a tank from CompBrake.
On Ebay they list the a Raw Striker Tank. I gave them a call as was curious why they listed such an unusually tank. They said they made one once, kept
the pattern so still sell it.
I resent the measurements (taken from my old tank) and received the new one. General workmanship is average. Seams look really good, but one did leak
so ask them to pressure test the tank before sending it. They modified mine with baffles and flanges to use the same pick ups as my original tank.
Overall I was happy with the service, apart from the weeping pin hole weld.
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

20l will still be fine for me as its just for my track day Locost. If it fitted in a MK it should go in! I'll wait to see if Jester/Mike R take
it but if they don't I'll defo take it - mine has a pin hole leak, patched with epoxy putty for now but is seeping a little!

Thanks for the offer on the fuel tank Paul
But I would have to make a lot of mods for it to fit my Striker,
MK said there are loads of different rear end tube setups from what they no so far,
There still working on the striker setups,
So no direct fuel tank sales yet
Going to give CompBrake.a call Monday
Thanks

They respond well to email and will call you back. They can be a bit slow to answer but when you get to speak to them they are very pleasant and
helpful.
