Some may say use a bike fuel pump, i've use a Facet solid state fast road fuel pump with a FilterKing/Malpassi fuel regulator set to 2lbs (this pressure may vary with your carbs) Rescued attachment Carbs On Car 6 vvsml.jpg

Sorry to hijack this thread,
Dave, How do you measure the pressure that you set the filter king to?
I have just installed one and not adjusted, certainly not measured it.

You can use a fuel pressure gauge ,or you can measure the amount height the fuel will pump up a tube 'head of fuel'.

1 psi of water would = roughly 27.7" of head

1 psi of petrol is roughly 39" of head ,therefore the pump and regulator should pump fuel up to 78" for 2 psi.

What I actually did was use a cheap fuel pump gauge but calibrated it first with 55.4" of water in tube.

All those programmes like 'Blue Peter' and 'How' were not wasted on me!!!!
