Which Clutch Assy?

Did a search for this topic, but nothing on this particular prob.

I intend to couple a Xflow 1600 engine to a Capri 4sp gearbox. From the Burton catalogue, (useful info source), this seems to be the Type 3. Having the clutch assys from both xflow box and theType 3, which should I fit? And what probs will I encounter?

Here's a pic of the 2 clutch plates. Note the difference in length of the central boss.

NB - Xflow plate is on left.

The clutch driven plates are the same 20spline 7.5" just a diiferent manufacturer and one is facing in the opposite direction -- one face should be marked "flywheel side".

What you will have to watch is you use the correct release bearinf as 2 are listed --- my vote would be to use the type one that came with gearbox.
