gear extension
i need to extened my type 9 gearbox in an MK indy would the west field fit
any pic or help would be very helpful

I've got one that I bought from MAC1. I intended to fit it to my Indy but the rail across the propshaft tunnel got in the way. If you lowered
the gearbox mount I'm pretty sure it would fit ok. For some reason I can't upload photos to my archive at the moment but once I can
I'll put a photo of it up. If you're interested make me an offer.

Check out David Jenkins site , he covers this very nicely. also shows how to make a very locost quick shift for the type 9 box . Can confirm this
works very well and also very locost . Cost me a little time and a few off cuts and about 90p ,. Must work out how to put in links, Rusty.

thank you for your reply but i phoned mac1 today and they helped me out very helpful people in there thought i would give them a wee mention on to say

Glad you got it all sorted. I agree, MAC1 are a bunch of top blokes.
How are you getting around the problem of the chassis rail getting in the way?
