Help Please!!

I have obtained some damage to the front of my locost resulting in a damaged radiator, so i need a new radiator i believe i had a escort one fitted but i do not know from which car so my question is which radiator is best and which one will fit.

It will be a MK2 escort rad probably from a 1300,although most of the locost racing use the VW polo rad like this one.

do a search on here for polo rad and the part number will pop up i'm sure,they are about £40/45 new from serck intertruck or german/swedish and french stockist

Would be better to try your local radiator specialist , he may even be able to repair/recore your own unit and be cheaper than a motor factor

The radiator repair specialist near me couldn't get a new core for a mk2 escort, so I suspect new cores are like hens teeth. He also quoted between £30 and £40 to repair a radiator.

German Swedish & French charge £42.95 for a new polo rad of the correct type.
