Nothing crude about them, just rather a lot of material present. They look well made and strong enough.

Look very strong and well triangulated.Probably a bit overkill but thats not a crime although they appear to stick out over the chassis rail and may
snag the bobywork a little.

Nah that's an optical illusion. The bodywork is all fitted. No snagging! It's snagless!
