Zetec-Type9
Hi,
Can somebody tell me how many, what spec and size bolts I need to fasten a Type9 gearbox to a 2l Zetec?
Neither my donor gearbox or engine had the bolts for reference.

For the spec i used 8.8's.
For type, i think mine were M10's. I have a mixed selection box so just tried what was in the box to find correct ones - selection box only cost
me about £12 for about 150 off (M6, M8, M10) Measure depth into the block and get some that go well in - as a minimum i would say enter the block by
20 - 25mm.
For qty - dont know exact figure but one per hole (sorry this sounds derrogatory - not meant too but use all of the mounting holes up for security and
alignment etc).
