4 age engine plumbing

Hi as you can see from the pic below, I need to now complete the plumbing of my engine. Can anyone tell me which pipe (the small 16/17mm dia ones) goes to the heater and which is the return? Also of the larger outlet pipes which should go to the top of the rad and which should go to the bottom?

Many thanks in advance for your help!
Rich

i would think that it does not matter wich way the heater flows as long as it does not leak .
Best wishes

Don't know that engine exactly, but generally hot water port is high on the engine - cylinder head / near rad outlet port, and the return port us usually lower on the block or tapped into the bottom of the radiator / rad return hose.

Hope that helps (a little)

its for the rwd corolla engine i know but it still has all the right pipes in the right places.

The two near the back of the block are to the interior heater. the uppermost outlet on the head (front of block) is where the water exits to the rad and returns to the back of the water pump. The two small pipes near the pump are to the throtle body.

You can prety much convert that into what you see on the engine youve got.
