Thanks lads,i've had a look through the vehicle wiring prod cat and the RS book and cant seem to find what i'm looking for,i've tin
full of the barrel type connectors but not the cup type i'm looking for.
If i cant find them i'll just re-design the linkage and try and make a new part,i could allways just go and buy a cable but i enjoy making up
the parts to suit.

Simpler just to convert it to a fork fitting and use a push bike brake cable nipple.

BT your right,i had a session in the cave this afternoon and decided it would be easier to adapt it,it was just a last chance that someone might know
where and if the ball joint socket like bits are sold.
I'll attack the problem tuesday
