Bellhous/duratec/type 9 box

Hi all,

Can any one give me adresses of firms who sell bellhousing for the 2 litre duratec with type 9 box??? i am building a luego velocity with a duratec 2 litre engine.

I got my bellhousing from ShawSpeed

Raceline do installation parts.

I have fitted a 2.3 Duratec in an Indy on the road, there are some piccys in my photos.

I think that it is high because its not yet been widely used so the numbers aren't there.

The majority installing at present are prepared to pay the price.

I think that the price will come down when the number of installtions increases.

Anyone contemplating fitting one should also do the sums for the rest of the installation costs as well. E.g shortened sump, throttle bodies & ecu, the cost soon escalates if you go new off the shelf. There are lo'ish'cost ways around it though.

One problem with the supply of engines is that they seem to suffer in vehicles that have had front end damage which reduces the number of usable engines at the breakers. For this reason it's worth checking up on the price of a new engine as there are some that come in from the states at a reasonable price.
