Fireblade weight?

Hi. Could anyone tell me the approximate weight of a Honda Fireblade engine, more specifically a 1992 (carb)model? Thanks.

When my '94 'blade engine arrived on a mini- pallet, with all its ancilliaries (loom, coils, carbs etc,) it was marked as weighing 71.5 KG (which I presume included the weight of the pallet.) So 65KG sounds about right.
Anyway, I was able to lift it into the engine bay on my own without a hoist etc.(just!)
Try doing that with a car engine!
That's why a BEC's power to weight ratio is far superior to an equivalent BHP spec'd CEC.

Andy.
