Exhaust Wrap - which paint
I've just fitted some exhaust wrap (and done the whole smokey curing thing !). The supplier recommended painting the wrap after I fitted it.
Question is which paint. I have a tin of 600 degree engine paint will this be OK. Seems a shame to have to buy something another tin of something
different I the one I have might do

ps before anyone asks I fitted the wrap to try and reduce the temperatures under the bonnet.

I used Plasticoat woodstove paint on mine and my whole exhaust and the whole lot has been fine with hardly any flaking and minimal discolouration (not
as dark black now).
Pat...
No trees were killed in the sending of this message.
However a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.
