Exhaust Wrap - which paint

I've just fitted some exhaust wrap (and done the whole smokey curing thing !). The supplier recommended painting the wrap after I fitted it. Question is which paint. I have a tin of 600 degree engine paint will this be OK. Seems a shame to have to buy something another tin of something different I the one I have might do

ps before anyone asks I fitted the wrap to try and reduce the temperatures under the bonnet.

I used Plasticoat woodstove paint on mine and my whole exhaust and the whole lot has been fine with hardly any flaking and minimal discolouration (not as dark black now).
