Heat resitant tape

I am trying to make more air go through my rad by taping heat restant board to the sides of the rad with gaffa type tape. The problem is that the heat is making the glue on the tape melt. Can anybody tell me where to get some high heat tape or suggest another way of doing this?

There's a silver foil tape that can be used to seal flue's with, it can usually be scourced from a ducting\ insulation\ boiler spares type places.
So that should be well within its limits, although it does tear quite easily.

Not sure of the price cos i always get in on the works account

You could maybe rigidly fix it with nuts or bolts and big washers to spread the weight?
