Squelling thrust bearing

Gentlemen your advice please

I have a problem. when I installed my engine and gearbox I fitted a new clutch and thrust bearing.

the first and second times i drove my car out of the garage the car moved without a squeek.

last night i started the car and there was a nasty squeel from the thrust bearing, drove the car out of the garage bearing noise stopped. on subsequent start ups this has become an intermittant noise.

is it just that the clutch cable needs adjusting or do i need to take the whole thing apart to have a look?

Whay do you all think?

I hope that I do not have to take it apart just yet.

Doubt it is faulty thrust bearing sympton sounds more like a faulty spigot bearing in rear of crankshaft, part no very dear but will mean removing engine, taking off clutch and removing bearing fron crank. HTH
