It Lives!!!!
After 3 & 1/2 years work it started 1st time tonight all be it only for a few seconds. What a brilliant feeling, it makes it all worth while.
Later we managed to get to running for awhile & when the exhaust manifold started to heat up the heat wrap smoked & began to change colour, is
this normal ?

Well done, i bet its a great feeling, wish i was that far .
I've just seen the pictures of your pedal box which is just like what I have been thinking of doing. Quick questions: What pedal ratio, master
cylinder size and caliper combination did you use?
Thanks,
Andy

Don't worry about the smoke. The heat cures the wrap and it goes quite stiff.

Thanks for the comments.
Andy
Its a Luego pedal box, 0.625" Girling m/c to the front & 0.7" to the rear, std Cortina calipers at the front & Cortina axle with
8" drums at the back.
I think the pedal ratio about 5 to 1, it comes with the pedal box, I can measure it if you need to know more accurately.
