How often should I have to repack a silencer?

Mine's been used for 800+ miles, and it's noticeably noisier...

...how long does the wadding last for most people?

David

What silencer are you using David?

I don't know the life expectancy, but am just wondering how my MK supplied item will fare.

I find that packing doesn't last very long at all.

On competition cars less time still!

On my grasser the last repack lasted 4 races, a total of about 20 mins!!!!

Just done mine after 1500 miles - the can was virtually empty ! It probably needed doing before this, but it gets gradually noisier as you lose packing and I guess you don't notice it so much.
