32/36 DGAV angle?
I'm fitting my Pinto, and the manifold I've got will mount the carb at an angle (off-level). This manifold is obviously designed for an
engine that is mounted angled up (nose high) whereas mine is level-ish.
Do I:
1) ignore it and just get on with building something
2) pack up the front edge of the carb to level it out (it needs about 6mm packing at the front edge
3) find a different manifold.
Just out of curiosity, is there any harm in mounting the engine slightly nose-down? It would be a lot easier to fit if the engine was tilted just a
degree or two
Cheers

Jolson,
I have the same engine/carb installed in my Indy and it seems to work fine - granted I have only been buzzing up and down the lane it, but it seems
OK.
