Carb (DGAV 32/36) angle problem?
I'm currently trial fitting my 1600Xflow engine and 4 speed box. As points of reference i'm trying to adhere to the following:
1. Engine/box as far rearwards as possible.
2. Lowest point of the sump approx. 1 inch below chassis bottom.
3. Gearbox bracket mounting on 19mm spacers above trunnel tubes.
However, this positioning results in the carb being angled forwards a few degrees. Is this a problem? Alternatively, I can compensate by rotating the
engine position (until the carbs sits flat) but the front of the engine ends up sitting very high and the gearbox output shaft ends up very low (and
angled) in the tx tunnel?
Any help would be welcome.

Carb Angle
My standard Ford twin choke and manifold worked fine with the motor level and the manifold tilted.

There's no problem - mine's the same setup.
It's no different from driving up a slight slope, after all! Now, if it was 45 degrees off horizontal...
