Free 1989 Sierra 1.8L hatch in Cambridge

Hi I don't know if this is a useful donor or not - I'm more interested in Marlin's kit cars than Locosts, but like the atmosphere on these forums - but if it's of any interest to anyone:
quote:
Car to dispose of. 1989 Sierra 1.8L hatch. MOT expires 19/11/05. Tax expires 30/11/05. £320 spent on tyres, exhaust and battery for the MOT just before the lorry hit it. Ford man says car is still MOT' able. Cheap motoring for somone.

This is being offered on the Cambridge Freecycle group, the rules of which state all offers & requests have to be free (he says "Car to dispose of" which makes me wonder if he's trying to sneak around the rules & ask for money for it). I'd rather not post the guy's email address here so if this is any good to you the best way to get in touch with the bloke is to sign up for the Cambridge Freecycle group and then take a look in the group's archive for the message (it was posted Saturday at 11:32pm).

Stroller.

Coincidentally there's an N-reg Citroen XM VSX Turbo hatchback on the same list, in need of some work. 2-litre petrol engine, I have no idea if this'd be any good as a donor or a cheap fixer-upper.
