mouting remote clutch reservoir
got this clutch reservoir which as supplied with my pedal box/master cylinders:
 
clutch resevoir
but it has a 7/16unf thread and i have no tube nuts of that size and neither do any of my local motor factors. i need to mount it today if i have any
chance of bleeding the clutch up and making my rolling road session tomorrow.
my thoughts are just to take an angle grinder or file to the thread to grind it donw to a size suitable for the hose to slip over it but thought
i'd post and see if anyone else had any alternatives before a start making a mess of the thread.

Try just slipping a hose over and clamp it up tight with a jubilee clip. This may well work (as long as you're not letting any air in) and will
save the grinder attack!

I would if i could get the hose anywhere near the thread but its far too large. using the purple cotton braid hose form think auto btw.

I bought an adaptor to change a 7/16"unf to 3/8"unf only yesterday. Any hydraulic fittings company should be a ble to help you Ned.
