Duratec throttle connection

I have finally sorted out the pedal end of my throttle and I now need to connect the bare cable to the standard Duratec V6 throttle body.
The pivot pin is a sort of 'top hat' affair - is there a standard way of attaching the cable to this or do I have to modify it to take a standard nipple?

Cheers,
Raz

maybe try your ford dealer to look through their book for a diagram or part number? or try a local scrappy and rob one off another engine? or try one of the ford forums or call burtons?

Ned.

Ooops silly me, I meant to post this pic

I have already tried Ford (who will only sell me a complete throttle cable) and when I phoned Burtons, Think Auto etc and all I got was a blank stare

I havent tried the scrappy yet though...

No problem now - I had a rummage in the box marked 'miscellaneous bits which I havent a clue where they fit' and found the actual plastic widget that clips onto the pivot.

Sorted
