Crossflow Clutch Operation
Due to my height, and length of my legs im having serious issues with my clutch operation.
Originaly i was using modified MkII Escort Pedals, pivoting at the top, i then made my own pedal that pivoted from the top again, then moved them back
to give me more leg room.
Im now working out a setup where they are mounted on the lower bulkhead bar, so pivot at the base, which is ok in theory, but in practice its not
pulling the clutch arm far enough to disengage the clutch (tested by engaging gear and turning prop)
How have others done theres? Im thinking of either using shorter cable or having it run round a curve on the pedal.
One thing i must add is i have mycable running in a tube to take into effect the difference in length between the inner and outer cable.

I used the Escort pedals top mounted in a home made pedal box. I kept the pedal geometry the same as I figured that Ford must have spent loads of time
working it all out. There are a couple of photos in my archive.
Personally I find bottom hinged pedals uncomfortable to use.
