Rad hoses

Can anyone suggest a good suppier of rad hoses? also is it worth going a bit max power and gettin some blue silicon hoses?

Try Graham Goode Racing in Leicester - They make and supply SPS hoses (v. good) and can do you custom hoses in varying colours for not much quids...

If you are not worried about fashion and want to save a few quid at the same time, get down to your local motor factor and have a look through his Gates catalogue. The various hoses are listed in diameter & length categories and you even get a little picture of each so you can find the ideal hose for the application.
Make some hose joiners from alloy tube and Robert's your Mothers brother

what you want to avoid is those donkey willy corrugate hoses that Halfords sell; the walls are not smooth so do not help with fluid flow.

anyone know if you can get these in anything longer than 1m lengths.

My header is just over 1m away from the radiator!!

Rupert - You would be better off using alloy pipe with bends at each end.
