crossflow dizzy
Does anybody have a picture of a distributor with a side exit cap fitted to a cross flow with side draughts please.
I fitted a non-vac advance dizzy prior to the carbs and ran the engine with a normal cap, but with the carbs on and the side exit cap I need to move
the dizzy to get the cap on? Also it points to the back of the engine- is this right ?

You can point a xflow dizzy any direction as long it does not foul on anything...makes no difference.

as long as the rotor is pointing at the segment when it's supposed to be or no spark will appear
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

slight off topic ; re: photo by thunderace
I see the HT leads are cable tied to gether - that is not something recommended and can cause misfiring.
leads should be far from each other and if they need to cross, they do so at right angles.

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.
