Dellorto DHLA 45 jet sizes - Zetec
Fitting Pair of Dellorto DHLA 45's to my standard 2.0 L Zetec.
I have the following setup information (from Dave Andrews site) for a 2.0L Pinto
anyone done anything wildly different on a Zetec ?
36mm chokes
7772.6 or 7772.5 Emulsion tubes
145 Main jet
190 Air corrector
idle jet size 50/55
idle air jet holder size 7850.2 ?
Jetting for modified 2000/2100 Pinto on 45s
38mm chokes
150 main jets
7772.6 emulsions
190 air correctors
40/45 pump jets
69/7850.9 idle jets
8011.1 aux vents
all Dutch to me !!!

I don't know how well the zetec breathes but 40mm chokes are what we use on a vauxhall 2ltr. 175-185 main jets. f16 (weber?) emulsion tubes.

SOrry no info on Zetecs but have faith in Dave Andrews calculator.
I got my settings from there then took my twin 40 DHLA's down to my local engineering firm (BHB engineering) asked him to order the bits, make a
few mods oh and could he cast an eye over the jet sizes etc.
Went and got his little book of settings, lo and behold for 1690cc x/f bcf2 & BVH the settings were almost identical !

just found Dave's program for calculating jets etc. Think I will go with the settings it suggests to start then tweak them on the rolling road
session.
