Steering Column

Do i need a collapsable steering column to get my car through its SVA? If so what steering columns are best?

The steering column should be of the collapsible type having two or more offset sections to prevent the column being pushed into the driver"

Most modern cars will be suitable, sierra and Nova are popular.

Cheers

Steering column

How do I identify if my Sierra column is crushable? It looks different from the pic, in Haynes.
