cooling problems with escort cvh engine

hey

at last i got my clutch problem solved and got the electrics figured out from my xr3i engine
and now i have problems with the coolingwater
I connected the tubes like i thought the must be, and i guess that is where my failure is

When the engine starts, the Expansion Bottle starts to fill up with water.

here is how i connected the tubes

the connection from the waterpump in front of the engine ==> is going to the under connection from the radiator

the upper connection from the radiator is going to the back of the engine, to the connection facing backwards

There is also a small connection facing upwards ==> that is connected with the upper connection from the Expansion Bottle

i think these tubes are ok, becaus there is no other way to connect them

thene i got two connections : one at the back of the engine on that housing, its facing left. And the i got one on the manifold.
The original tube from the escort was still there and connected those two. SO i connected those both tubes to the under connection from the Expansion Bottle.
I hope you understand what i mean. Because it's tough to explain

Now does anybody now what the problem is ? or does anybody got a diagram of the connection?

cheers
melvin

have you bled all the air out? might be the air expanding.

Does the expansion bottle have more than one conection on it?

If so then you want to use the lowest one I think.
