Hi Darren,
You might do well to have a read of forced induction performance tuning by A Graham Bell.
Some nice ideas in there and some interesting examples of high output engines without necessarily demanding high boost levels.
Makes for an interesting read and there is a big section on preventing detonation and charge cooling iirc.

Thanks for the info, tried pace before, the website is not working properly since they were taken over.
I will try to get a copy of that book.
It is a 2.9 24v granada engine so i will not require much boost to get 400hp (comp ratio is 9.7: 1 so i might be limited to closer to 340 - 360
ish)
I`m using a sequential setup, r32 skyline as a primary, r21 (t3) as a secondary.
A wastegate controls the 2nd turbo outlet, with a one way valve in the intake of turbo 2.
I`m under the impression that the larger the turbo (or total size of the turbos) means that less boost is required to achieve the same power as there
is less backpressure, Am i Right?
I`ll take a pic.
I have built my own ecu, it starts the engine, it is now fun trying to actually program the sequential bit.
Thanks
Darren
