first engine run
Im just about ready to turn over my engine for the first time now after it hasnt run for about a year. I was just wondering what the best way to
lubricate the bores is. I was thinking about taking the plugs out squirting a bit of engine oil into the cylinders and turning her over for a while
like that so there is less force against it. Is there any better products than oil i can buy for this? I saw an advert for some "prolong"
a while ago but cant remember much about it. Thanks.

Andrew,
I think you also want to prime your oil pump - Haynes manual may be best source of this info for your engine.
I will be putting a few drops of oil in my bores before I turn it over (though saying that I'm fairly convinced my engine is knackered
anyway!!!).
