Scholar sumps

Guys,

Have just spoken with Scholar about their shortened Zetec Sump. They have a shortage of 2.0 sumps which they use. You now have to exchange with a 2.0 sump and oil pick up pipe.

Mines a 1.8 sump any ideas?

Ian

That is kind owhy i have been saving my 2.0 sump. My plan is to chop that in when i get the shortened sump so i retain the 1.8 one.

Where is your original sump? As said im sure someone will swap you a 2.0 one.

Where do you live ?

A few of us have AC tig welders, a couple of drinks should see that shortened to Scholar size, you just need to measure the pick up and sort that at the same time.

NB/ 1.8 sump fits a westfield without mods, have google. Put the engine in as is, decide afterwards if it hangs down too far.

Regards Mark
