i'm actually going for 8.5cm, i think its too low, but its gonna mess with my suspension geometry if any higher. I like the idea of hydraulic
suspension though

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

target to go for is 4"
should ba able to get away with 3" if your carefull
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes.
By that time, who cares.
You're a mile away, and you've got his shoes

I was using 100mm and nearly wiped out my sump on the 'square' speed bumps.
120mm is just about high enough but you still need to take care over the little beggars - go between then, never over
Oh and avoid roadkill too - anything bigger than a flat squirrel makes a lot of mess to hose off later.
Cheers,
Raz

75mm is do-able but you have to be really carefully about slowing down for speed bumps and be really really careful when going over the bumps with
gaps in the middle of the road- if you try and straddle that you're a gonner- your wheels don't rise much and the bump rips the sump
off...
100mm+ is preferable....

I have 75mm at the moment to the sump, but am considering raising it to 100mm.
I know there would be problems with speed humps with 75mm, but what about bumpy roads? Of which there are plenty at home...

I run at a fraction over 100mm to the bottom of the bellhousing; not hit any bumps - yet.

I was looking at my Falcon last night 2" but then the sump is plated in 5mm steel and its certainly had a few thumps going by the missing
paint..
