nissan turbo owners whats this??
Hi, can anyone identify this black box please? Its on a pulsar gti-r turbo engine just below the throttle bodies. Its got lots of vaccuum pipes
going to it and one goes to the brake servo from it. It got a bit damaged taking the engine out and i need to know what it should do to see if it
still does Any ideas??

Looks to me that it is a shared vacuum pickup which is connected to the plenum.
Cheers,
Raz
When thinking outside the box doesn't work any more, it's time to build a new box

Top part looks like a manifold for the vacuum pipes, what are the lower left and right pipes connected to. Any electricery connected to it?
I've spent the afternoon trying to figure out why a mates Mercedes Vito wont idle. There are so many sensors and electronics involved that
it's a nightmare.
hope it all still works
regards
Steve

Post the question on the Sxoc forum or the driftworks forum you will find out everything you need to know about that engine.

Hi, theres no electric connected to it so chances are it is just a type of manifold but i presume somethinng is inside it, oh well ill try one of
the other forums, just thought there was a few people on here using tis engine before i register for another site. Ps, that pipe pointing upwards
isnt supposed tot be, thaats what got bent taking the engine out. Thanks
