also as you might be able to see i have a slight problem with the rampipes corroding

Do i need new ones???

Don't want bits of metal shooting down them.

i am going to do a photo diary of my carb strip down and rebuild. Might help people int he future i guess.

rechrome them or sandblast and powder coat

Or rub them with the foil off a KitKat and sell them. Then put the money towards new ones.

Looking good I did the same to mine, very rewarding, nothing beats the sight of some shiney sidedraughts IMHO. Dont forget to spray the whole outside with WD40 or something to keep them shiney, or they will turn white.
