Convoluted flexible coolant hose?
I am trying to plumb up my coolant system but cant find any hose locally..
Im sure I have seen some rubber convoluted flexible coolant hose that would do the job perfectly somewhere....does anyone know of an online supplier
for it? Im after 35mm ID... two 400mm lengths (approx)

So does mine, but they want £15 for one 300mm length....
I was kinda hoping to find a bit of a better deal...

convoluted hose is the work of the devil!!! avoid if you can.
have a look at CBS - they do hose, straight and right angle or else go to you locak car parts place and look inth their hose catalogue.

There wil be boxes and boxes of all sorts of coolant puipe at stoneleigh, mainly on the martini car parts stand.

Yep, stoneleigh, or go into a friendly motorfactors. Mine just let me rummage through their hose stock until i found what i needed.

I tend to agree.
I believe that a good portion of my cooling problems were caused by it.
Admittedly my situation was worse- I was trying to plumb a 25mm Micra rad.
But due to the internal 'corrugations' of the pipe I reckon the pipe diameter was down to about 10mm where it went around corners.
I'm just finishing putting it all back together having re-done the plumbing properly.

It's quite expensive and its a bit of a bodge (poor flow etc etc)..... but for a quick and dirty answer you can't beat it
Better to do it properly though!!

Abbey hose - not online, but top stuff. Much, Much better than halfords, smooth bore, steel outer coil.
Unlike others this will outlast standard hose.
