Anybody recognise this clutch slave cylinder
Hi All
Does anybody recognise this clutch slave cylinder - it's on my car but I don't know the history- it wasn't new but it was lying around!
I need to change it urgently (tomorrow!) but don't know what to order. I thought it was metro but the Metro one that's sitting in the motor
factors isn't the same.
It's Girling and 7/8".

If it is on a car and it worked?
By then not search for girlin??
don't untherstand the problem.
else try another girling slave cilinder and try to put over the internals???

The clutch pedal went to the floor once when it was on the rolling road last time. The master cylinder is new, the hose line is new and the clutch arm
on the R1 didn't move so I can only assume it's the slave cylinder at fault.

Looks like it is just shotout cant it?
take away the grommet and make a pic.
i would talk deff to girlin supliers.
they will recognise it and be able to send you a recondition kit anyway just looks like your clutch stop broke away (piston out of the cilinder)...

No, the piston is still in the cylinder - I've just removed the rubber so that you can see the full body.

I was going to say MGB as well
However slave cylinders tend to fail by leaking fluid away while the vehicle is sitting parked not the way you described.

It's a Ford part - just been to the motor factors (Bob Fowden - always great help and good prices!) and the part number is definitely Ford. They
can't get the whole slave cylinder but will get me a repair kit by 1 pm today!
