rv8 core plugs

Hi
Im changing them at the moment, the ones on the side are no problem but the two behind the flywheel will only knock in about 5mm before they hit something.
Should i be removing then in a different way other than the usual, tap in, rotate, pull out?
thanks kenton

Dril hole for large self tapping screw and use it to lever/pull them out other wise just careful use of a small cold chisel or marlin spike.

Or a small bladed screw driver, if like me you don't have a cold chisel handy! Bash it through and lever it out, or self tappers as per BT.
