People use the Fiesta/Escort sump due to a bit of extra ground clearance.
In your aplication you may not need it. Infact you may be beter of with the Mondeo sump as it has the bowl in the middle giving more clearance for a
crosmember.
Any photos of your chassis work ?

for the bottom iam gonna chop off
i am thinking of choping it along the line on the sump or taking about 40mm off
and then putting baffles in here on the right
and choping the pick up here
any ideas soz ive got no photo shop to do pics as my kids wiped it off some how lol

if you take off 40mm off a sump intended for track then you will defo need baffles and would be best if you can keep the oil volume the same by adding
a box on the side of the sump and make sure your oil is at full before you go out in it.
the escort zetec is about 1" shorter and slightly different shape and the blacktop zetec is the easiest to weld as it has a steel bottom half to
the sump.
