Ford concentric slave popped??

I have a Mondeo clutch slave cylinder fitted to my plastic car and when you push the clutch pedal, you can feel when the slave has reached its limit. I had intended to put a stop on the pedal to stop it pushing too far but I got a bit excited today and went for a spin. Whilst performing a cunning stunt, I pushed the pedal too far! I felt the slave pop and a quick peak under the car revealed a puddle of Dot4.
Here's the thing......the clutch appears to be working again and it's not loosing fluid. What's the chances that the clutch springs have pushed the slave back together and we'll hear no more about it? Or should I whip the engine and box out to check?
I have now fitted a washer to the M/C spindle to stop my clumsy great hoof hurting the car again......

Question.... What engine and box have you got fitted...? I thought the usual suspect for concentric slaves was the Saab unit, not the Ford one. Will it fit a Type 9..?

Cheers

Not directly, but then neither will the Saab one. With enough engineering, almost any suitable sized concentric slave could be made to fit.

I machined the nosey trumpety bit down on the type 9 so the Mondeo slave fitted onto it. I then crafted a bracket to stop it from spinning!
