fuel hose question

I got a local company to adapt my fuel rail fittings on my 4age. They added tails which I can connect to the brass connectors using jubilee clips onto the main copper lines. Trouble is I asked for 8mm ID, but when I get them home they have used 9.5mm ID. Question is, will the jubilee clip take up the 1.5mm and make the connection without leaking fuel?

Thanks
Adrian

I wouldn't use Jubilee clips on fuel lines - they tend to pinch the pipe if they are a bit loose to start with and might leak. Use proper fuel pipe clips which are the correct size for the od of the pipe you are using.

9.5mm hose on a 8mm pipe is no good. I would use 3/8" pipe, which is 9.5mm, or have the hoses made up with 8mm tails.
