Extra hoses on Toyota eng.

Toyota 22RE.
I would like very much to know what happens to all the hoses going here and there, which were supposed to run things like the Air Conditioning and Power Steering, and won't be necessary in the new car. Also, what happens to the holes left if the hoses are not attached to their original places? There are a lot of them, coming off the EFI plenum, most of which I can't identify, even with the Service Manual.

PS a wire brush on a drill does wonders for the valve cover and head!

Any spare hoses can be cut off/removed and the offedning ancillary removed too. Any holes that are left can be plugged with epoxy, or left open if they don't go anywhere important. I'm currently going through this with my new engine, which has a good few holes to fill up!
