zetec turbo conversion ?

hi all,
having got rid of the blade engine (stupid in know), and fitted a zetec(black top).
so the wife could drive it. which she hasn't
i'm lthinking about doing a turbo conversion, got an old rs turbo kit sitting in the shed
just waiting to go on!

so here's the problem
i miss the sound track of the bec, so do i forget the zetec and go back to bike engine. to save time and money ? pound for pound is better performance in a bec

i know what a bec package will cost me,
but what would i get if i sold the zetec lump g/box prop, omex ecu loom (3 months old) from griffin power systems cost £900 for loom inlet system and ecu.

or do i just throw more money at the rusty lump in the engine bay ?

cheers paul

Your Zetec will sound a lot more like a BEC (ie, instant revs on throttle) if you use a light ally flywheel...and you gain some serious performance into the bargain

Sounds like you have nearly all the parts for a simple zetec turbo already.

You are only 15 miles down the road from me so if you want to pop over and see my zetec turbo install you are welcome.

I'm quite good with zetecs and the last one fitted to my mates car makes over 400 bhp.

I can also map your omex for beer money when you get it put together if you like?

Doug.
