Reverse gear

Hello,

Because of the route I have taken the brake pipes the mechanical part of the gearbox remote which requires you to lift the gearlever to select reverse won't fit in the trans tunnel, is it an SVA req to have this on. I.e I can remove so the g'box remote will fit and reverse would be selected like anyother gear.

Otherwise it means me re-routing the entire brake line

Suggestions welcome
Cheers

No requirement for the gear change gate, but you might have a problem if you try and select reverse by mistake or pull away in reverse!
Not a good idea to remove it!!

I agree totally, but I have a looming SVA date (wasn't expecting), so I will keep as is for now and modify after.
