Chain Drive ATB Diff

Hello All,
I know this maybe a slim chance, but when I've mounted the diff in my cradle, I was just checking everything was turning freely, as I turn it it makes a loose sounding rattle, it's definately not the bearings it's clearly in the main body of the atb diff, sounds like a bit of metal slapping backwards and forwards
Anyone any clue or even know whats happening

More info, it's a few years old, but unused so it's as new

Cheers
David
