Pace chargecooler

Anyone know of what power a single cell charge cooler from pace can handle?
Shown here: http://www.v8yes.co.uk/3.html

I`ve got one, just wondering if i might need an intercooler as well. I`ve looked on the net, just cannot find any concrete details, even from their website.

Pace sell them in the kit for a Calibra/Cavalier Turbo, so thats 204bhp as standard.

Modified cav/cally's running phase 2 (~280bhp) use them and they work well.

However, Pace do a double cell one (which is literally twice as thick with twice as much core) and that is preferable.

Cav/Cally's also have an intercooler as standard, which most people uprate to a larger one together with the CC.

A CC on its own isn't really enough, especially that one. They are good for keeping charge temps down in traffic though, where a fmic can't operate.

What sort of power you looking for?

Hi, thanks for the reply, 300 - 400hp, from acosworth 2.9.

I`ve got a skyline turbo, and a renault 21 turbo, sequentially operated.

I was thinking of maybe putting an intercooler for the skyline (primary) turbo. I`m guessing i should be well within the efficient area for the turbo as both in total can cope with 500hp - 550hp. So the temp will be mainly from compression to 7 - 12 psi of boost.

Thanks
Darren
