Damn! It won't start today

I went to nip into town today and it won't start!
Duratec V6 on MBE ecu ...... I'm confused.

I have fuel pressure (pump primes ok) but nothing is getting through to the plugs. I am getting a good 12V to the coil pack but no sparks. Plugging the laptop in doesn't shed any more light on the problem as everything looks normal.

My gut feeling says the ecu has gone daft, although it has done over 5K miles with no problems at all. Is there any way to check it without returning it to the supplier?

Any ideas guys? The ecu supplier is permanently engaged today and I've tried everything I can think of

Cheers,
Raz

Spot on Steve!

I finally got through to the ecu supplier who said exactly the same thing - apparently if the signal is not received by the ecu it will not trigger either sparks or injectors.

I wiggled the crank sensor connector and BINGO !! Hopefully some switch contact cleaner will sort it out permanently

Thanks Steve
