ARP Rod Bolts
I am going to get some ARP rod bolts to try to hold my next engine together.
Does anyone know if the 2.0 silvertop uses 8mm or 9mm bolts.
The website says 1.6=8mm and 2.0=9m but I have a feeling this is for American spec engines and they only had the blacktop as a 2.0.
I could wait until I get stripped out but want to get them ordered as soon as possible.
I have checked teh bay of E and they are looking at around £50. Not cheap!!!
Thanks,
Steve

I know they go in old school sizes 5/16, 3/8 or 7/16. That price sounds right for ARP2000,

I was going to get some ARP, but found Dunnel do some reusable ones for about the same.

Think all the european engines were 8mm.....that could just be silvertops though. Oli.

Talk to these people
http://www.northbridgemotorsport.com/
They'll be able to supply the bolts in the right size. Also theirs don't require any reaming of the caps to fit them like arp
recommend.
